Myles’ Weekend Adventures: Exotic Dancer Gentlemen’s Club Owners Expo! Bonjour mon amis! Comment ca va? Myles Shaffer here. Is anybody interested in reading about the busy four days I’ve had? (It involved lots of beautiful young women.) Good! Then let us move on to the story without any further ado! (Actually, the information about a large part of those four days is in a previously published column.)

Exotic Dancer Gentlemen’s Club Owners Expo

Sunday, August 21, I hit the road to Las Vegas, Nevada, to attend the Exotic Dancer Gentlemen’s Club Owners Expo and as many related events as I could possibly get to.

That night I attended the Miss Exotic United States Pageant semi-finals, and Monday night, August 22ND, I checked out the first hour of Karaoke XXX at the Red Label Bar.

After leaving the Red Label, I then moved over to Deja Vu Showgirls Las Vegas where I attended the Miss Exotic United States Pageant finals. (See the related column to read all about the semi-finals and finals.)

Owners Expo Trade show

Tuesday afternoon, August 23, I attended the Owners Expo trade show.

Among the people I saw at the trade show that I already knew or had met at least once before were: Scott Alexander (from LA Direct Models), Archie (also from LA Direct Models), Leah Bay, Darius Belcher (the owner of the Red Parrot Gentlemen’s Club, in El Paso, Texas), his mother and his employee Dave Hernandez, Breanne Benson, Chelsea Charms, Jade Simone St. Clair, Krystle Cummings and Stormy Daniels.

I also ran into: Tali De’Mar, Audrina Diablo (formerly known as Jenni Lynn), Diamond Kitty, Daisy Duxe, Brooke Haven, Derek Hay (the founder of LA Direct Models), Ron Jeremy, Naomi Knight, Ginger Lee, Tony Lee (from the Lee Network) and Lucy L’Vette.

Additionally there were: Daisy Marie, Michelle Maylene, Skylar Rae, Rain, Tasha Reign, Sondra Saxon, Natasha Vega, Nakita Kash, Sunny Leone, Kiara Mia, Nina Mercedez, Trisha Uptown, Inari Vachs and Tarryn Wylde.

I also saw Stephanie Styles, a model whom I’m fairly certain I met during last year’s Expo.

The people I met for the first time on this day were: Eden Adams, Rich Hansen and his lovely wife (the owners and publishers of Glamor Girl Magazine), Brian Hopkins (the general manager at Wild J’s Gentlemen’s Club, in Canute, Oklahoma), Jewelz and Richelle Ryan. (If I remember correctly, Jewelz is a spokes model that I may have met at last year’s Expo.)

Speaking of Richelle Ryan, she will be feature dancing at the Hi-Liter Gentlemen’s Club Thursday evening, September 8Th through Saturday, September 10Th. If nothing goes wrong between now and then, I plan to drive to Phoenix to spend some time with Richelle and to observe her shows this coming Saturday. Therefore, everybody should be on the lookout for that upcoming column.

I also met for the first time, Tamara Lynn, and during that afternoon, I finally got to meet Jacquie the Costume Lady. (Ladies, if you are in need of a fabulous-looking new costume, get in touch with Jacquie. When it comes to designing and creating costumes, they don’t get any better than Jacquie!)

Exotic Dancer Awards Show

Tuesday evening, I attended the Exotic Dancer Awards Show which was held inside the Grand Ballroom at the Mirage Hotel and Casino. (The Expo was also held at the Mirage.)

Before and/or after the show, I saw Joanna Angel, Leah Bay, Nikki Benz, Ethan Cage, Simone Danalustrous, Tali De’Mar, Daisy Duxe, Andy Enomoto (the owner and publisher of Private Dancer Magazine), Ron Jeremy, Nakita Kash, Diamond Kitty, Lexi Lamour, Devon Lee, Nina Mercedez, Kiara Mia, Teagan Presley, Rain, Puma Swede, Inari Vachs, Don Waitt, of course, and Jerry Westlund (the owner of the Fantasy Club Chain) and so many of his house dancers, I had to jokingly ask him if he left any of his dancers behind to work the clubs.

I also met Ryan Keely for the first time during the evening.

The ED Awards Show, was hosted by comedian Nick Di Paolo this year and a fine job he did!

The ever lovely Nikki Benz presented the Midwest Club of the Year Award to On the Border, Franklin, Wisconsin, the Midwest Small Club of the Year Award to Angels, Kalamazoo, Michigan, the Central Region Club of the Year Award to Jaguars Gold Club, El Paso, Texas, and the Central Region Small Club of the Year to Babe’s Cabaret, New Orleans, Louisiana.

Next came a special performance by Entertainer of the Year Nominee Tali De’Mar.

Then sexy Devon Lee presented the Southeast Club of the Year Award to Tootsies Cabaret, Miami, Florida, the Southeast Small Club of the Year Award to Deja Vu Showgirls, Nashville, Tennessee, the Northeast Club of the Year Award to Larry Flynt’s Hustler Club, Baltimore, Maryland, and the Northeast Small Club of the Year Award to Tiffany’s Cabaret, Buffalo, New York.

Up next came a special performance by Entertainer of the Year Nominee Dakota Skye.

Following Dakota’s performance, Ronald “Ronnie the Limo Driver” Mund of the Howard Stern Show fame presented the General Manager of the Year Award to Gary Nemeth, Little Darlings, Las Vegas, Nevada, and the Club Employee of the Year Award to DJ Platypus, a DJ at Tootsie’s Cabaret, Miami, Florida.

Then the T&a Duo, Alexis Texas and Teagan Presley, presented the Club of the Year in the West Award to the Spearmint Rhino Gentlemen’s Club, Las Vegas, Nevada, and the Small Club of the Year in the West Award to Sam’s Hofbrau, Los Angeles, California.

Jade Simone St. Clair, “The Naked Comedian,” then presented the “Feature” Club of the Year Award to AL’s Diamond Cabaret, Reading, Pennsylvania, the Club Favorite Entertainer of the Year Award to Kristy Morgan, and the Miss ExoticDancer.com of the Year Award to the always beautiful Nina Mercedez.

Next up, Entertainer of the Year Nominee Suzie Malone did a special performance. (Suzie is the only feature dancer currently touring the country who incorporates magic into her stage performances. )

Then it became time for long time club executives Randy Beasley and Duke Dearing to be inducted into the Exotic Dancer Hall of Fame.

After the Hall of Fame inductions, everybody was treated to a special performance by Entertainer of the Year Nominee Gia Nova. Then Gia was followed by Entertainer of the Year Christina Aguchi giving a special performance of her “Ninja Show.”

After Gia and Christina’s performances, it was time to present the biggest awards.

This year’s Newcomer Entertainer of the Year Award went to Jayden Cole. The Adult Movie Entertainer of the Year Award was won by Katsuni. The Club Chain of the Year Award was taken by Rick’s Cabaret International, and the Overall Gentlemen’s Club of the Year Award was presented to Delilah’s Gentlemen’s Club, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

It then came time for the biggest, most anticipated, award of the evening, and Christina Aguchi was crowned the Overall Entertainer of the Year 2011.

Back to the Trade show

Wednesday afternoon, August 24Th, I attended the second day of the Owners Expo trade show.

On this day, in addition to the people I had seen and met the day before, I finally got to meet Lacey Rain and Mina Harker. I also met Mia Moore for the first time. The very lovely Mia is a new girl who was attending the Expo in hopes of finding a good agency to sign with and becoming a feature dancer. (I surely do hope the young woman succeeds in her attempts. I would love to see her on a stage someday!) At some time during the week, I also met Tara Dega and Cheyenne Jewel for the first time.

Closing Night Party at Larry Flynt’s Hustler Club

Wednesday night, even though I was already just about worn out, I decided to attend the Closing Night Party which was held at the new Larry Flynt’s Hustler Club. After all, I was feeling just a little bit guilty about not having attended a single related event other than the Miss Exotic United States Pageant.

The party started out as a private party on the club’s rooftop.

During the party, I saw quite a few people I had already seen and spoken with during the week. I also saw and spoke with Prinzzess Felicity Jade. For whatever odd reason, I had not run into Prinzzess before this night.

At one point in the evening, the first ever Annual Hot Seat Awards Show was conducted on the rooftop.

The winner of the Club Executive with the (Wink, Wink) Smallest Ego Award was none other than the owner of the Fantasy Showclubs Chain, Jerry Westlund.

The Club Executive Who’s Better Looking Than his Entertainers Award went to Niko Foster of Jaguars Gold Clubs.

And the Industry Pro Most in Need of a Valium with his Morning Coffee Award was won by Dave Michaels of a-List Features.

After the awards had been presented, I went over to Jerry Westlund and said, “Congratulations Jerry, I think. By the way, I voted for you. Am I in big trouble now?”

Eventually, the party moved down to the ground floor. (the club has the ground floor, a second floor which is generally a VIP area, and the rooftop area which is generally used for private parties. It can also be booked for weddings, wedding receptions, business conferences, etc.) Once on the ground floor, Jade Simone St. Clair and the house DJ teamed up to emcee the performances of four of the best feature dancers around today.

First on stage was Suzie Malone. Suzie was followed by Gia Nova. Next up was Lacey Rain. And last but not least came a performance by Trisha Uptown.

All four of the ladies were in top form to-say-the-least!

The New Larry Flynt’s Hustler Club

The new Hustler Club is a far cry from the original. I went with my editor-in-chief, Steve Nelson, Pasha Yanina, Stephanie Stalls, and a few other people to check out the original club during the 2009 Expo. Since I really can’t say anything good about what I saw that night, I won’t say anything at all. Instead, I’ll speak of the new club. (I was greatly surprised to learn that the tiny, unimpressive, original club looks totally different now, and is a side room of the club that is used as an after hours area.)

Before I called it a night, I was given the grand cook’s tour of the club by a beautiful young female manager named Alysia Ashley. (I will tell the world that Ms. Ashley is so beautiful as any of the house dancers!)

I can’t begin to remember every little thing I was shown and told about the club. In fact, I am seriously thinking about going to Las Vegas on a weekend when I have nothing to do, going to the club and sitting down with Alysia Ashley and a tape record in order to be able to write a column that would be exclusively about the new Hustler Club.

A few things that stuck in my mind are these. There is a stage on the second floor that has a transparent floor. A person can look down through the floor of this stage and watch everything that is going on down on the ground floor. Likewise, the people on the ground floor can look up at the ladies dancing on the second floor stage. The second floor has private suite-like cubicles for the VIP customers. There is also a private suite with a private bar, etc., for the exclusive use of the club’s owner and his son. Now if anybody thinks that is something special, they should see Larry Flynt’s private suite! Yes, the man himself has his own private suite on the second floor, and I was told that he does use it just about any time he is in town. (If anybody is wondering, yes, the club does have elevators.)

The club has at least two bars and a DJ booth on the ground floor, and I believe I remember at least one bar on the second floor. The roof can be set up with a portable DJ booth and at least two portable bars.

I believe that is about all I can say about the club at this time other than to say that it must be seen to be believed. I have seen some large, and/or classy clubs, but none that I have ever seen can top the new Las Vegas Hustler Club!

Okay folks, that will just about do it for now. Let us all return here the next time to continue discussing beautiful women. Until then, everybody stay safe, have a great week, and live life as if there were no tomorrow!

Bonsoir et au revoir,

Myles Shaffer
