Myles’ Weekend Adventures: Bonjour mon amis! Comment ca va? Myles Shaffer here. Damn the COVID-19 pandemic! Because of it causing all of the gentlemen’s clubs and adult industry events having to be shut down, I have had to miss a good number of adult entertainers that I would have loved to see perform and to write about. And, I would have met a few of the ladies for the first time. I was especially looking forward to meeting Alaska Galore and seeing her perform at Expose Gentlemen’s Club in San Diego.

A few of the many features that I have not been able to see perform were Alaska Galore, Bridgette B, RubberDoll, and Tiffany Watson.

The 2020 Exotic Dancer Gentlemen’s Club Expo was one of the adult entertainment events that didn’t happen because of the COVID-19 pandemic. It first had to be postponed to October twenty-five through twenty-eight. Then, it was once again postponed until May twenty-three through twenty-six this year 2021.

For various reasons, the Expo will be held at the Intercontinental Hotel in Miami, Florida this year, if nothing goes wrong thanks to the pandemic.

Another event I missed so far this year was the AVN Adult Entertainment Expo. It is my understanding that instead of the usual live convention, the event took place over the Internet this year.

So, everybody who can do so should make plans to travel to Miami, Florida in May to attend the Exotic Dancer Gentlemen’s Club Expo in at all possible. (Hopefully, we can all have received the vaccine shots by then.)

Here is a bit of bad news. Thursday night, January 14, I tested positive for the COVID-19 virus and was admitted into the hospital. I was released Monday evening, January 18.

Now for some good news. I have fully recovered and have again tested negative for the virus, and on Thursday, March 18, I received my first Pfizer vaccine injection. I will receive my second injection on Thursday, April 8.

I hope that all of my readers are safe and well and have gotten their vaccine shots. If any of you haven’t gotten one of the vaccines yet, please do so for your own sake and for the sake of those around you. Let’s get our world back to some semblance of normalcy.

Okay good people, that is all I have to write about at this time. Let’s all hope that our favorite clubs and events will return to some semblance of normalcy by then, and we will once again be able to converse about fun times and beautiful women.

Until then, everybody please stay safe, have a great week, and live life as if there were no tomorrow!

Bonsoir et au revoir,

Myles Shaffer
