(SUFFOLK COUNTY, NY) — County police raided a boat/barge in Long Island, New York that served as a "floating swinger’s club."

Cops burst into the Purple Rose Social Club after observing more than 100 people – some wearing leather and some nude engaged in sex acts. Inspector Kenneth Rau noted that many of the participants were not practicing safe sex.

None of the social club members engaged in the sex acts were arrested, but the organizers of the club, Thomas Digiantomasso and Thomas Evangelista were charged with violating the state’s liquor laws.

The social club, also known as the "East of Eden" club moves from spot to spot on the waterways of New York to elude police.

Sources say the investigation is continuing, and the two charged will have to appear in court at a later date.
