Teanna Kai
Thursday evening, September 24Th, I went to the downtown Los Angeles Spearmint Rhino to see Teanna Kai. As usual, I ran late enough to miss her first show of the evening. While I did stick around for her final show of the evening, as things worked out, I never got an opportunity to speak with her.
At the start of the one show I saw, Teanna wore a head piece that consisted of two large red feathers. She also carried a large red feather in her hand. Next came a pair of almost elbow-length, black, fingerless gloves and a red corset with four long red feather boas hanging from the bottom edge. The feather boas almost gave the appearance of a skirt of sorts. Under the corset, Teanna wore a sheer black body suit with a good-sized black bow on each hip. Beneath the body suit, Teanna wore a black bra that was decorated with a sprinkling of sequins on the breast cups. She also wore a pair of black panties with a sprinkling of sequins in the front of the crotch area. The back of the panties had what appeared to be, ”Teanna,” spelled out with sequins, or possibly rhinestones. The final touch to the costume was a pair of black shoes that had ankle straps, stiletto heels and platform soles.
Teanna opened this show with, ”Moulin Rouge,” A.K.A., ”Lady Marmalade,” from the soundtrack of the movie, ”Moulin Rouge,” performed by Christina Aguilera, Lil Kim, Mya and Pink. Her second song was, ”Poker Face,” by Lady Gaga. Though Teanna performed to a total of five songs during this show, I’m at a complete loss as to what the last three tunes were. I did not recognize them, the DJ didn’t have a clue, the titles were not written on Teanna’s CD, and as I’ve already stated, I never got a chance to speak with Teanna during the evening.
The lovely Teanna stands five feet three inches tall, weighs one hundred four pounds, and measures 32C-23-34.
Those statistics were given to me some time back by Teanna herself. Although, in an article in the April 2008 issue of Stiletto Magazine, her measurements were listed as being 34C-23-34. So, everybody can flip a coin. What I know is that Teanna looks good in the nude, no questions asked!
Teanna is a good performer, has a good personality, and she does enjoy meeting and chatting with her fans. She is definitely worth the drive to a nearby club to see her perform and to meet her in person. I myself go to see her whenever I can.

A few weeks ago, while in the L.A. Rhino to see one of my features, I met a house dancer that calls herself Becky Brooks. I had meant to write a little something about Becky in that week’s column, but it slipped my busy mind. So, I have decided to do something about that.
Becky has moved up from dancing in the San Diego clubs to give the Los Angeles Scene a try. (It is my opinion that San Diego’s loss is definitely L.A.’s gain!)
Becky is a very pretty blonde with a really nice body. In addition to her good looks, she is smart, extremely friendly, and a world of fun to chat with. She can trade wisecrack for wisecrack, or she can hold an intelligent and serious conversation. It all depends on what the customer wants.
The first time I met Becky, I was fortunate enough to see her in action on the stage. I can testify to the fact that Becky performs so well as a lot of the features I’ve seen over the years, and she interacts with the tip rail squatters reasonably well. (I would love to see her dance in a club that doesn’t have to be constantly looking over its shoulder for the sex police!)
If anybody happens to find themselves in the L.A. Rhino, look around for Becky. If they are lucky enough to meet her, tell her I said hello, and by all means, sit at the rail for one of her performances. Also, don’t forget to tip her, and if possible, buy a couple of dances with her.
Christina Aguchi
Friday night, September 25Th, I drove up to the North Hollywood Blue Zebra Cabaret to see the Spearmint Rhino Entertainer of the Year, Christina Aguchi, perform.
As usual, I had trouble getting squared away and getting on the road; therefore, I missed Christina’s first show and arrived shortly before the start of her second show.
Christina performed her Ninja Show her second time on stage for the evening. The costume for this show was a very sexy, modified, stylized, Ninja costume. Christina came onto the stage working out with a Chinese Bo Staff and a little later with a pair of Nunchakus. I do believe that is the first time I have ever seen a Bo Staff and a pair of Nunchakus that were encrusted with multi-colored glitter. (Whenever my younger son has worked out with either weapon, they didn’t sparkle and shine!) While watching Christina perform abbreviated katas with those weapons, I was reminded of the fact that the lady holds a black belt rank in martial arts. At least I think I remember reading or hearing that somewhere.
Christina’s costume consisted of a full head mask, a sleeveless jacket-like piece and sleeveless things that covered most of the length of her arms but weren’t attached to anything. She additionally wore a top with thin shoulder straps and long pants. Beneath the top, she wore a bra, and under the pants, she wore a pair of panties. Beneath the panties, Christina wore a flesh-colored G-string. For footwear, she wore a pair of knee-length, high-heeled, black boots.
The lighting in the Blue Zebra is so dim, and given the dark color of the walls and the furnishings, it is often very hard to distinguish colors under the stage lights. Therefore, and because I didn’t get a chance to speak with Christina, I can only guess at the color of her Ninja costume. All of the various pieces of her costume appeared to be black, and they may possibly have had some dark blue highlights. But then, for all I know, the costume might have been a midnight blue with lighter blue highlights.
The only one of Christina’s songs that I recognized during this show was, ”Let the Bodies Hit the Floor,” by Drowning Pool. Since I didn’t recognize any of her other songs, I didn’t get an opportunity to speak with her, and because it is next to impossible to get to the DJ booth in this club, I haven’t a clue as to what the rest of her music might have been.
For whatever reason, Christina put on a dress and left the club between her second and her final show. I was going to wait around for her last show, but I started running out of stream and decided to call it a night.
Christina is a great, award winning, feature dancer, and her stage shows rank right up there with the best in the business! In fact, she is so careful about her performances, that it is her tendency to spend much more time performing that she does interacting with the tip rail customers. Although, when she does interact with a lucky few, she does a very good job of it.
In regard to her awards, not only is Christina the 2009 Rhino E.O.T.Y., but she won awards in the Golden G-String Awards and in the Exotic Dancer National Championships this year!
Christina is a hot-looking mixture of Chinese and Vietnamese with long black hair and brown eyes. She stands five feet three inches tall, weighs one hundred thirty-five pounds, and measures 36D-25-39. Now before anybody starts thinking that Christina’s butt might be a bit large, they need to see just how beautiful it looks. (I have seen lots of people in the world who wish that their faces looked so good as Christina’s butt!)
Christina is a very talented lady. Additionally, she is smart, friendly, has a great sense of humor, and she can hold an intelligent conversation with anybody. Plus, she really enjoys meeting and chatting with her fans.
I go to see Christina perform whenever I can. Therefore, if she is good enough for me, I can see no reason why anybody should fail to take any opportunity they might get to get out to a club to see her perform and to meet her in person! So far as I am concerned, Christina is an absolute must see!

Beausoleil, the number one Cajun band in the world:
Since there were no more features performing in the area this weekend, Saturday evening, September 26Th, I took my executive-vice-president- in-charge-of-backseat-driving, our youngest son and our oldest grandson to the Richard and Karen Carpenter Performing Arts Center, located on the Long Beach campus of Cal State University, to see country singer and song writer Iris DeMent and the number one Cajun band in the world, Beausoleil, perform in concert. (Yes, as of this evening, I have now met and spoken with all of the regular members of Beausoleil one or more times.)
While Iris performed completely alone and accompanied herself on the piano and at times with a flat top guitar, Beausoleil Consists of brothers Michael and David Doucet, Jimmy Breaux, Mitch Reed, Billy Ware and Tommy Alesi.
Beausoleil’s line up is: Michael Doucet – violin, guitar, accordion, mandolin, vocals, David Doucet – guitar, vocals, Jimmy Breaux – accordion, Billy Ware – percussion, Tommy Alesi – drums, and Mitch Reed – fiddle, bass
What does this have to do with the adult entertainment industry? Not a thing. I just thought that I would let the world know that I occasionally do things with my family in the non-adult industry world. See, I tried to tell everybody that I was a normal human being. Well, maybe not all that normal, but I do occasionally do normal things. (I’m joking. I’m just so normal as most of the people in the industry.) [Maybe even more so! -Ed.]
By the way, it was a great concert! At least it was for anybody who loves Cajun music, Cajun food, and the Cajun people and their culture so much as I.
