(LOS ANGELES, CA) — East-West Productions, Inc. has announced the September 15 "soft" launch of a new internet site sexsurvivor2000.com, which will be expanded to a full adult website on October 1. Ultimately, the website will serve as the exclusive home for the continuous, live webcast of "SexSurvivor 2000," a brand-new, reality-based competition, where the events and activities are meant strictly for adult subscribers only.
Scheduled to take place from November 13-19, 2000, "SexSurvivor 2000" features two teams consisting of 14 adult film performers ("Vets") and 14 amateurs ("Rooks") who will be locked in seclusion (no phones, radio, TV, newspapers, mail, internet or other access to the outside world), in an exquisitely furnished, private, luxury estate (complete with 9 bedrooms, 6 baths, 3-bedroom guest house, exercise solarium, pool, jacuzzi and 90-foot waterfall). There, they will live, eat, sleep, bathe and play, all while engaged in a week-long, no-holds-barred sex competition for a 1st place prize of $350,000 for each male and female winner.
The contest will be co-hosted by legendary, award-winning adult film actress, Ashlyn Gere, and prominent feature entertainer, Lisa Lipps (112LLL-24-34). They will be joined by resident sex therapist, Sharon Mitchell, a member of the adult film industry for 25 years and, currently, its leading health care advocate.
They’ll provide the commentary as cameras located throughout the house enable adult subscribers to catch every single moment of the action, wherever and whenever anyone decides to "get it on."
"We’re all voyeurs," says Executive Producer, Michael Caruso. "It’sobvious from the explosion of reality-based competition shows on television and internet sites. With the privacy of the internet, we can marry this popular format with more adult-oriented content to create the ultimate in survival contests. We’ve spent the past nine months preparing for this moment and now, the time is right. We’re ready to make internet history."

For a one-time fee of $69.95, subscribers will not only be able to watch the action 24-hours-a-day for all seven days-including the special "Roman Orgy" on November 18-they actually will participate in the daily voting to eliminate one male and one female contestant from each team, down to eight finalists. Then, on the last day, final winners are determined in an all-out, free-for-all, battle-of-the-sexes, down to the last man and woman. Top "SexSurvivor 2000" winners (one male and one female) will each receive $350,000; second place winners each receive $100,000; third place winners each receive $50,000.
Team members are chosen by an application process that is being conducted through numerous adult stores, gentlemen’s clubs and internet sites around the country. And, the response to the auditions has been overwhelming. To date, the "Vets" include such adult industry personalities as Herschel Savage, Bridgett Kerkove (AVN’s Best New Starlet 2000) and Playboy’s "Bad Girl", Teri Weigel. The "Rooks" team, which has generated interest from England and Spain as well as throughout the U.S., is comprised of individuals and/or couples who are not adult industry professionals. So far, they include swinger, Billie Britt, and amateur film maven, Ed Powers. The final auditions for team selection will be completed on October 4 in Los Angeles.
The cost to subscribe is $69.95 for the week-long contest. Subscribers who sign up on or after October 1 will be allowed access to the site from the time they subscribe through the end of the contest on November 19 (which will include other adult programming) at no additional charge. In addition, during the week of the contest, subscribers will have an opportunity to win prizes from a variety of interactive games that will occur throughout the course of each day.
"With the projected traffic, the potential for advertisers on this site is tremendous," adds Caruso. "Sponsorships are available for companies trying to reach the adult market."
California-based East-West Productions, Inc., was established to produce SexSurvivor 2000 for the entertainment and enjoyment of adults over the age of 21. Along with Caruso, the team behind SexSurvivor 2000 includes Senior Producer John Steven, and Emmy-nominated director Layne Parker.
The website and show concept will be featured at the company’s booth at the upcoming IA2000, an international national internet developers conference which is scheduled for September 22-24, 2000, in New Orleans. Hosted by Lisa Lipps and three former Penthouse models (who are potential contestants), visitors to the booth will be able to explore the site, as well as submit audition tapes for the competition.
