In addition to its other services to the gentlemen’s club segment of our industry, EXOTIC DANCER Publications has formed ACE, the Association of Club Executives.
Working in association with the First Amendment Lawyers Association and the Free Speech Coalition, ACE will present a legal symposium once a year for club owners and club general managers. There are also discussions to possibly open portions of the conference to adult videostore owners.
ACE-The Legal Symposium will be held each spring, followed six months later by the Annual Gentlemen’s Club Owners Expo in the fall. This will give club owners two opportunities a year to meet and confer face-to-face with the adult industry’s top attorneys. Other plans include state chapters, a national communications network and professional workshops.
Membership in ACE is open to any adult nightclub owner or general manager in North America. There are no membership fees or annual dues. Revenues are derived from registration fees to attend ACE-sponsored conferences, seminars and workshops. In addition to hosting an Annual Spring ACE Conference to complement the existing Expo, the goal of ACE is to be a resource center for club owners seeking assistance in legal, lobbying, marketing and management, and staff development fields. In essence, ACE is charged with providing club owners the tools they need to run their businesses in the most ethical, professional, legal and profitable ways possible.
