(LOS ANGELES, CA) — Rising adult film star Dimond Jewelz makes her first mainstream television appearance on the popular Telemundo Latin American dating game show “12 Corazones” (“12 Hearts”). Filmed in Hollywood last week, it will be broadcast this month, with airdate to be announced shortly. This is the first time an adult actress has appeared on an Hispanic show of this status and popularity.
“12 Corazones” debuted in 2005 and utilizes the twelve Zodiac signs to determine contestants’ compatibility based on their sign. “12 Corazones” is hosted by Mexican Penelope Menchaca and features frequent advice from co-host Edward’O, a notable Nicaraguan astroanalyst.
Relatively new to adult films, Ms. Jewelz has made several films primarily for the Internet and private viewing. Due to her special interests in adult entertainment, Dimond’s round in the game included food and foot fetishes. Then at one point her paired male grabbed one of her ankles and pulled her leg over her head. Since she was wearing a short mini-skirt, the resulting visuals caused such a commotion with the audience that their extended cheering took so long, they almost had to stop taping. Producers admitted it took record time to settle down before the next segment.
As a result of her appearance, Ms. Jewelz was immediately booked for an appearance on the popular Latino version of Jerry Springer, “Jose Luis Sin Censor.” Airdate announcement and further information forthcoming.
“12 Corazones” format divides 12 contestants into two groups, usually 4 males and 8 females. Each contestant is identified and referred to by his/her Zodiac sign. Between segments, Edward’O offers advice to the contestants according to their respective signs.
In the first segment males interact in a mock play, or they are asked to perform an outrageous stunt, followed by a roundtable of discussion on a spicy subject. The first group leaves and the second group determines whom to eliminate.
In the second segment, a male is eliminated and then the females are introduced. Turning up the heat, couples are paired off in more intimate scenarios such as dancing, kissing, or other close body contact with a “Roulette of Kisses” or a “Dice” round. Following more roundtable discussions, male contestants then eliminate three females, leaving only three males and five females.
In the final segment, the host picks a female who picks her heart among the males who has the option to accept or decline.
