Myles’ Weekend Adventures: Kayden Kross, Bridgette B. [And why Adult Industry News no longer endorses TJ’s Showgirl Theater in Stanton, CA. -Ed.]

Kayden Kross
Thursday night, September 21, I went to the City of Industry Déjà Vu Showgirls to say hello to Kayden Kross and to observe both of her shows of the evening.
For her first show, Kayden wore a Lacy black bra and a pair of matching bikini panties. On her legs, she wore a pair of hip-length more-or-less flesh colored hose. Her footwear was a pair of black shoes. The shoes each had two straps that crisscrossed the arches of her feet. They also had spike heels and low height platform soles.
During this show, Kayden danced to, “After Dark,” by Tito Y Tarantula, “you Know I’m No Good,” by Amy Winehouse, “Angel,” by Massive Attack, and, “Sail,” by Awolnation.
To start her second show, Kayden wore a black bra and a pair of black bikini panties. Next, she wore a somewhat elaborate black garter belt that consisted of a series of straps. Kayden’s lovely legs were adorned with a pair of mid-thigh length light tan hose. The hose had a thin black vertical stripe on the back of each. On her feet, Kayden wore what appeared to be the same pair of shoes that she had worn during her first show.
Kayden performed this show to, “60 Feet Tall,” by the Dead Weather, “Blue Veins,” by Raconteurs, “Kiss the Cook,” by that Handsome Devil,” and, “Die by the Drop,” by the Dead Weather.
Kayden committed some very good interaction with just about everybody that was seated at the tip rail during both of her shows.
Kayden has long blonde hair. Her eyes are either blue or green depending on what she is wearing at the moment. She is five feet five inches tall, weighs one hundred fifteen pounds, and her lovely body measures 32D-22-34.
Kayden has always been an extremely friendly, intelligent, and articulate person. She also very much enjoys meeting and speaking with her fans.
This beautiful lady performs well on stage; therefore, it is my recommendation that no one should allow an opportunity to go see her perform and to meet her in person should said opportunity ever arise. I do believe that they would thoroughly enjoy the experience.

Saturday evening, September 23, I drove down to Stanton to see Bridgette B. at TJ’s.
When I walked into the entrance area, I over heard the doorman tell the fellow in front of me that he needed to pay ten dollars to go into the club. Then it was my turn. I showed the young guy my press badge, told him who I was, why I was there, and that the club had always comped me whenever I had been there in the past. He called somebody on the phone. Then, after he hung up the phone, he told me that I would have to pay sixteen dollars if I wanted to enter the club. I asked him why I had to pay sixteen dollars, but the guy in front of me had only had to pay ten dollars. He replied that it was ten dollars for the cover charge and six dollars for the one drink minimum. (I didn’t bother to ask him why he hadn’t charged the other guy for a drink.)
Finally, the doorman asked me if I wanted to speak to the on-duty manager. I said yes. After standing there for a few more minutes, I again told the dude that I would like to speak with the manager. That time he got on the stick and called the manager.
Several minutes later the manager came out. I showed him my press badge and spoke with him about who I was, what I did, and that the club management had always comped me in the past. He then said that I would have to pay to get in. I then told him never mind. I was just going to go home, and I would see Bridgette B. another time in a better club where the management understood and appreciated free publicity.
I don’t believe I will ever again visit TJ’s for any reason.
Oh, I know, sixteen dollars isn’t much. However, I just don’t feel that I should have not been comped. After all, whenever I write about seeing a feature performer, the club’s name and location gets mentioned. That is free publicity that the club would have to have paid for otherwise. Why should I scratch TJ’s collective backs if the management isn’t willing to scratch mine? (I have been comped in clubs from California to Louisiana. I can’t remember the last time I had to pay to go into a club and do my job.)
