I was wondering what your take as I heard last night while driving home from work on KNX News Radio that Adult Film Production in L. A. County has really left for good now since that county ordinance was passed in 2012 requiring condom use in the movies.
The only places that the Industry is going to is Camarillo and Calabasas as some studios must have studios they can use there and is also out of the county too. Another place they would go to is Las Vegas as they have been inviting the business to relocate there, just as long as the Clark County Sheriffs don’t look to bust them there soon unless it will have to be like it was in L. A. during the 1970s and 1980s where they go to certain areas of town, switch cars a lot and also have fake sets made to throw off the raiding parties.
Also in the radio they said it just like the Mainstream Films where they have gone to other states and overseas as tax breaks and incentives for filming there have been very generous.
It does make me feel bad that L. A. and Hollywood will lose its title as Entertainment Center of the World and YES we are even close for New York to take back as Movie Title as the Movies started out there but came to L. A. and Hollywood for more decent weather all year but with economics and high taxing being where it is now, it is no wonder both mainstream and Adult Movie Industries are now almost out of L. A. If I ran into Michael Feinstein of AIDS Heathcare Foundation, I would not be very damn nice to him and I see he cares more for gays at the white party in Palm Springs than Adult Film Industry.
Thank you,
