Thank you to Krystal for sending in what she sees it must take to be a porn star! Here is her Letter to the Editor:
Being a porn star takes a lot of work. You have many things you have to do that can sometimes be overwhelming! People think, “Oh a porn star is lucky because they have sex for a living,” and yes, that is I’m sure at times a plus side to being a porn star, but I’m sure it’s not always a plus side. Some of the females have to do things even when they don’t want to! Just like the males, [female] porn stars work harder than people think!
Some people treat porn stars bad because they think they are bad people just because they make adult videos! I will tell you something though, I have friends in the business and have talked to many others as well. They are some of the nicest, honest, most trustworthy people you will ever meet. They Will not judge you, or disrespect you. They treat you with respect, and are always so kind hearted.
I mean truthfully, when do you see conventions where you can meet all mainstream movie/TV stars? Or when do you see conventions to meet your favorite singers? Never to be honest, unless its at concerts for meet and greets that you pay for, for maybe a 10-15 minute meeting. But with porn stars during their convention you pay a certain amount and can meet as many as you want.
I have also heard about some fans being able to go to after parties and such with them and just hanging out with them which I really believe is cool and sweet of them.
So before you judge porn stars look at your facts. Don’t judge a book based on its cover because you never know what’s inside.
