(WEST HOLLYWOOD, CA) — Wicked Pictures announces Wicked Girl Samantha Saint, AVN Female Performer of the Year Asa Akira, and multi-award winning Wicked Pictures director Brad Armstrong will join jessica drake and Team Wicked in the 29th Annual AIDS Walk Los Angeles. The walk will take place October 13 in West Hollywood, California.

Team Wicked was formed last year by Wicked Pictures performer and director jessica drake, who has walked the past four years. The group raised more than $18,000 for LA County AIDS organizations in 2013, qualifying it as a Gold Team in 2014. This year, Team Wicked hopes to raise more than $20,000 and is offering a variety of giveaways as incentive for fans and industry peers to donate, including an opportunity for those contributing $500 or more to participate in AIDS Walk Los Angeles as a member of Team Wicked.

“I am very excited to be participating with Team Wicked at this year’s AIDS Walk Los Angeles,” says Samantha Saint. “I’m happy to be supporting such a worthy cause.”

“I’m really proud to be a part of Team Wicked at AIDS Walk LA this year. In light of everything that’s been going these past weeks, it was an easy decision to make,” states Asa Akira. “When jessica drake approached me to join, I had little knowledge on the organization itself. After doing some research, I quickly realized this was something I wanted to do. I look forward to being a part of something bigger than myself, and hopefully making a change.”

Saint, Akira, and Armstrong will join Team Wicked walkers Kaylani Lei, Dana DeArmond, Kylie Ireland, Steven St. Croix, and Brandy Aniston. The group also includes industry staff, family, and friends.

“We’re bringing out the big guns this week with the addition of Brad, Samantha, and Asa to #Teamwicked,” states jessica drake. “Every time our team grows, we’re one step closer to breaking last year’s record. I’m so grateful everyone is pitching in to support such an important cause.”

In addition to her charitable work, drake is a highly sought after sexual wellness speaker and educator who lectures at universities and teaches seminars and workshops globally. She is the writer, producer, and director of the video series “jessica drake’s Guide to Wicked Sex,” which has received critical acclaim from adult industry authorities including AVN, XBIZ, and Fleshbot.com.

AIDS Walk Los Angeles has drawn more than a half-million participants, who have collectively raised more than $72 million in its 27 years. The event, which has served as a model of grassroots fundraising and community activism for organizations across the United States, is sponsored by AIDS Project Los Angeles (APLA). It is dedicated to improving the lives of people affected by HIV disease, reducing the incidence of HIV infection, and advocating for fair and effective HIV-related public policy. About AIDS Walk Los Angeles:

The world’s first AIDS Walk was developed by Craig R. Miller in 1984, during the height of the AIDS epidemic. Seeing the need for immediate action in response to this public-health emergency, Miller sought to fill the void left by the government’s negligible response to the crisis. Drawing on his experience as a political and community organizer, Miller’s approach combined grassroots activism with fundraising and other campaign strategies to raise both awareness and urgently needed funds for the fight against AIDS. Miller brought his idea to the fledgling AIDS service organization, AIDS Project Los Angeles (APLA), who hired the young activist to produce this new event. Miller and APLA expected to draw a crowd of 1,000 supporters and raise $100,000 for this very first AIDS Walk. On July 28, 1985, in Los Angeles, 4,500 courageous and visionary people assembled at Paramount Studios and raised an astonishing $673,000. Since 1985, AIDS Walk Los Angeles has drawn over a half-million participants who have collectively raised more than $72 million for APLA. The event serves as a model of grassroots fundraising and community activism for organizations across the United States. For more information, visit www.aidswalk.net/.
