(VAN NUYS, CA) — Today is the street-date for DreamZone Entertainment’s eagerly awaited parody feature, ‘MacGyver XXX: A DreamZone Parody’. Produced and directed by Van Anderson, the lampooning of the ‘80s television action-adventure series stars Richie Calhoun as “Angus MacGyver” and Ella Milano as his girlfriend, “Friday”. Additional stars appearing in the satirical sendup include Jayden Lee, Sasha Sweet, Sabrina Taylor and James Bartholet.
‘MacGyver XXX: A DreamZone Parody’ is based on the successful action-adventure series that ran on ABC from 1985-1992 and starred Richard Dean Anderson as a secret US government agent who opted to use everyday objects rather than firearms to complete dangerous missions. The show developed a cult-like status with an ardent following of fans who would speculate and research the various “jury rigged” solutions that “Mac” invented to extricate himself from danger. Such constructions became referred to as “MacGyverisms,” a term coined in the late-‘80s that became a staple of Pop Culture lingo. Similar to his mainstream counterpart, ‘MacGyver XXX,’ utilizes everyday household items like a rubber-fisted dildo, a condom, a stick of chewing gum, a piece of string and other gadgets & “doodads” to solve just about any crisis.
In this high-end DreamZone porn parody, the movie’s namesake character battles a nefarious criminal mastermind (played by Earl Slate) who has kidnapped both MacGyver’s Gal Friday, and his ex-girlfriend (Jayden Lee). MacGyver knows how to get out of a jam using his scientific know-how, cunning and crafty skills. But once our hero finds out that he’s been double-crossed six ways to Sunday, the question is: Will he want to? For the first time, MacGyver’s loyalty to the Phoenix Foundation will be tested in a way that he might not be able to accept. The 2-disc “Collector’s Edition” includes the full-length parody feature, a “Friendly Non-Sex Version,” extensive Behind-the-Scenes footage, DreamZone Trailers and an assortment of Photo Galleries.
