Myles’ Weekend Adventures: Glory Stories, the Improv Orgy
Bonjour mon amis! Comment ca va? Myles Shaffer here. This will have to be a rather short column about a good time and some great laughs, so please read on and enjoy this article.
Glory Stories
Friday night, December 28, I went to the iO West Theater, in Hollywood, for another performance of, “Glory Stories.”
The cast of, “Glory Stories,” during this performance consisted of: Brandon Barrick, Peter Fluet, Zach Huddleston, Josh Mattingly, Michael McCusker, Patrick Ian Moore, Neil Ruddy, Jeff Thompson, and Andy Trash. The guest storytellers were the beautiful, sexy, adult film stars Britney Amber, Alex Chance, and Sasha Knox.
Improv Orgy
“Glory Stories,” was followed by a performance of, “The Improv Orgy.”
The cast for, “The Improv Orgy,” performance was the same minus Josh Mattingly and Andy Trash but plus the lovely Elizabeth ‘Liz’ Eberling.
Both performances were a lot of fun as in a barrel of good belly laughs!
Another nice thing during these two shows on this particular night was the fact that there weren’t too many empty seats, and the crowd was a great one who laughed easily and wasn’t afraid to take part in the shows. I’m speaking mainly of the audience’s willingness to provide ideas for the cast to base improv comedy on.
I will once again make a recommendation that all the readers who live within the Greater Los Angeles Metropolitan Area should attend these shows whenever they are able to. They are a lot of fun and a reasonably cheap date especially if the people don’t drink too heavily. Of course, the more drinks the theater sells, the better it is for everybody. But if anybody is going to tend to drink too much, I certainly do hope that they will bring a designated driver!
This coming Saturday evening, January 12, there will be what promises to be a great performance of, “Comic Book Live,” based on the, “Star Wars,” films. I myself can hardly wait to see it!
