Nude Glamour Model Chosen for Female Lead in New Movie. Layla Randle-Conde, a glamour model based in the West Midlands of England has been chosen for the lead female role in the new movie, The Stone.
Layla came to the attention of the producers and Director, Philip Gardiner (best-selling author and award-winning filmmaker), when the lead actor, John Symes, pushed her forward for the role in the tense, psychological, paranormal thriller.
”We were looking for somebody who had a depth of emotion in her character and we saw some of Layla’s youtube trailers where she shone out. Following that it was just a matter of whether she looked the part we needed.” Said Gardiner.
Layla will play the part of an intensely sensual lady who unbeknown to the rest of the cast actually ends up playing a key role in unlocking the mystery of the complex plot line.
From bikini shots to topless, Layla has no problem with expressing herself and the acting coach on the film believes this is why she is so good at going that extra mile.
The Stone, is set to begin filming in February on Dartmoor with a hundred Druids and a full production team including the special effects crew from Shaun of the Dead, three assistant directors, four producers and hundreds of extras. Stars such as Tony Scannell (the Bill) and Bunny Reed (Hammer), not to mention several a list surprises are all booked.
The film will go to festivals in 2010 followed by release through Warners.
