(LOS ANGELES, CA) — Booble, the Adult Search Engine, announces the winner of the 3rd annual Booble Girl of the Year, crowning Sunny Lane as Miss Booble 2009. Sunny competed fiercely this year with the first 20 days of the contest being a back-and-forth battle for the lead between Sunny and fellow porn superstar Mariah Milano. “It became a contest of grassroots Internet marketing” comments Bob Smart, founder of Booble.com. “We were getting traffic from all over the Internet. These crafty vixens were putting links asking for votes everywhere; from forums and message bards to popular TGP hubs.”
The contest, which tallies votes from surfers to judge the winner, is a run-off of the previous 12 monthly winners. “In the monthly contest, or even in past years, it has been a popularity thing. But not this year – I mean face it, they are all beautiful and have insanely loyal fans,” says Bob, referring to the dozen adult stars in the race, whose names range from glam pop-porn stars like Nikki Benz and Sophie Dee to hugely popular independent sexpots like Brandi Love, Michelle Lay and Britney Brooks. “This year the girls added determination and moxy to it. They inspired their existing fans and made new ones.”
“I met Sunny in 2007 when we were raising money to fight Breast Cancer at AEE.” reports Smith. “She volunteered to autograph for donations, and I couldn’t get over how sweet and down to earth she was… She was genuinely honored by every fan that came by to see her.” He adds “She will make an excellent – and sexy – emissary to bare the Booble brand for the year!”
