(LOS ANGELES, CA) — Who knew?? Adult superstar Savanna Samson pops the cork and expounds on the pleasures of the grape while introducing a collection of her most popular starring roles airing each Friday on Playboy TV Late Night beginning at 11:00pm/EDT. The first installment airs March 14th with subsequent suggestions airing each Friday through April.
Ms. Samson, whose own foray into winemaking has resulted in the eponymous and critically praised Savanna’s Sogno Uno (preeminent wine critic Robert Parker awarded it a score of 90 to 91) is eager to share her refined talents with the Playboy TV audience. ”I put my best into the films I star in and the wines I select. I’m happy to have the opportunity to share them both with the audience.”
Among Ms. Samson’s recommendations are a robust and hearty cabernet sauvignon for films with a decidedly masculine perspective. An Italian semi-sparkling moscato d’asti complements a movie with more feminine and ephemeral aspects. A spicy and bold grenache fills the bill when watching titles that include, shall we say, playful props made from leather and hardware. And, of course, a refined champagne is almost guaranteed to make the evening a double feature.
”Wines, like movies, come in many styles. Some are florid and romantic, others are profound and complex,” explains Ms. Samson. ”I enjoy pairing films with certain vintages to create a wonderfully sensual and pleasant experience.”
