On behalf of everyone at Paradise Visuals, we would like to extend our congratulations to William Margold and Sunny Lane for their recent nominations.
After co-starring, writing and directing The Make Up, our first new feature in over 15 years, I am personally thrilled to see Bill’s portrayal of my father recognized by the academy. I wrote the part with Bill in my mind, based the character from my real life dad.
Sunny Lane’s, best supporting actress nomination is a historic one, it marks the first time a NTM, (or nose to mouth), scene has been nominated. For those who do not know what I am talking about, check it out- it’s not to be missed.
In addition, we hope our nomination for best classic DVD will get the word out about John Holmes’ final movie, “The Devil in Mr. Holmes”. Unlike some classics, this movie was never available on DVD before now, and is truly from the Golden Age (not produced in the 90’s) of porn. The “Devil” DVD includes the most in-depth, 83 minute interview with John’s widow, Laurie Holmes ever done. The interview was moderated by Bill Margold and should answer almost any question you could have about the life and death of John C. Holmes.
