The Almaty Film Festival which will be held September 15-22 2007 in Almaty, Kazakhstan contacted Arrow Productions to screen the movie.

With the support of the U.S. State Department, the US Embassy, the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Mayor of Almaty Arrow Marketing Director Robert Interlandi will hand deliver a 35mm print of Deep Throat and attend the first screening as a much “honored guest”.

The Festival is being organized with the support of film producers, distributors and film archivers worldwide and will present a full spectrum of cinema including a program of erotic films. A restored 35mm print of Deep Throat will be shown on a platters system because there aren’t any change-over systems in Almaty.
