(HILLSBOROUGH, NC) — Adam & Eve, the nation’s number one source for all things erotic, is pleased to announce it has opened its 16th retail store in Wilmington, NC.
This latest franchise store, located at 5500 Market Street in a heavily trafficked area of town, now serves as the flagship store in the retail chain. With more than 4500 square feet of lingerie, novelties and DVDs, this store opened its doors on Friday, March 30, with a great deal of fanfare and a promotional Rv to attract a record-breaking number of customers.
Improving upon the winning formula of women and couples-friendly product selection, Adam & Eve Wilmington was designed to provide an example of the perfect franchise store to potential franchise owners. From the carpet to the ceiling tiles, every item was chosen to promote a clean and sex-positive image of the store.
Owners Marcus Goswick and Jason Hoke, who also runs Adam & Eve’s Franchise Division, spent months selecting the location, developing the floor plan and hiring the staff.
“We looked at locations in Las Vegas, Miami and Atlantic City,” says Hoke, Manager of Adam & Eve Retail. “Ultimately, the best spot for the flagship store was right in our own backyard.” Adam & Eve’s corporate office is in Hillsborough, NC.
Goswick agrees. “We hope our store serves as the template for future Adam & Eve retail stores. With stores already in Florida, North Carolina, Massachusetts and Michigan… and future stores scheduled for California, Idaho and Montana, our goal is to have customers know exactly what to expect from Adam & Eve stores wherever they go.”
