(HOLLYWOOD, CA) — In what will no doubt go down in the annals of Los Angeles rock spectaculars, Kurt Lockwood’s Pornopalooza featuring not the Ramones will take place June 11 at the Whisky a Go Go on the world famous Sunset Strip.
The very special evening will combine two of the greatest things known to man: Ramones songs and pornography. The band (which features multi-AVN Award-winner Kurt Lockwood, as well as AVN publisher Tim “I only voted for him in one category” Connelly and AVN production coordinator Ed Webb) will devote the night to honoring the quartet from Queens, with special appearances by the legendary Ron Jeremy, plus sex biz stalwarts Taylor Wane and Tabitha Stevens. Porn star back-up singers will be joined by go-go dancers and assorted eye candy to keep the joint hard and rockin’.
Celebrity guests, a VIP area upstairs, red carpet, gift bags and sponsored drinks and more will keep the hardcore set partying till they drop. Pay attention fans, the smart money says the place will be teeming with boff industry babes since the boys are there.
Tickets are $15 (proceeds will go to charity), and can be purchased by cash, check or credit card (American Express, Visa or Mastercard). The club will be 18-and-over only after 10 p.m. The band takes the stage at 11, so arrive early for proper lubrication. Call 818.998.0573 to RSVP.
