Sexpo is Australasia’s largest Adult Lifestyle exhibition and the busiest (per square metre) public exhibition in the Southern Hemisphere.
Sexpo is now in its 10th year of operations in Australia.
Following on from this week’s announcement by Australian based AdultShop.com Ltd that it intends to purchase New Zealand’s Video Wholesalers, Sexpo Pty Ltd is pleased to announce that the Company will conduct the first New Zealand Sexpo before the end of this year in Auckland.
Sexpo is a three-day public event looking at all aspects of health, adult entertainment, sexuality, and adult lifestyles. The aim of the exhibition is to allow adults to access frank and accurate information on all such matters, all in one convenient location. Sexpo is not an exhibition only about sex; instead, it is about Health, Sexuality, and Adult Lifestyles. The name of the exhibition is certainly indicative of the flavour of the event, but should not be taken as meaning that Sexpo is just a sex exhibition. In fact, the exhibitor base is continually been broadened and now incorporates companies from a range of fields. These include (but are not limited to) aviation, wine tasting, marine sports, electronic home entertainment systems, holiday resorts, spa pools, hair and make-up artists, physical fitness equipment and others that have helped increase and broaden the appeal of the event.
Over one million people have visited Sexpo since the first show in 1996!
Sexpo Pty Ltd holds the Sexpo Trademark in New Zealand, the USA, Australia, and several other countries.
“It has always been part of our plan to bring Sexpo to New Zealand and we believe there is no better time to make this announcement given the existing spirit of co-operation between our two countries.”
‘Given attendance figures in Australian Cities with similar population to Auckland, we would expect close to 50,000 visitors at the first New Zealand event, with 40% of those being female” says Sexpo’s Event Organiser, David Ross.
