(AUSTIN, TX) — BitterSweet Restraints is a home-based business that was started in 1997 by Eric S. out of Austin, TX. He designs, manufactures and personally ships all the products, which are also fully guaranteed against breakage under normal use.
Forbidden Fruits, a hometown adult novelty store, has been carrying the basic black line of restraints for the last 7 years and in all that time there has been only one return and no complaints.
All restraints are made using a polypropylene-webbing core for durability. The buckle and d-rings used are made of an impact resistant plastic. Extra stitching is used in all key areas of stress or pull. The thread itself is #69 nylon, usually reserved for very heavy-duty applications. 3 sizes (1 1/2″, 2″ & 3″) and 2 versions are available; regular and heavy duty. Regular is a single overlay (one pc lays across the other) with a plastic buckle and plastic d-ring. Heavy Duty cuffs are made using a double overlay (1 layer between two others) and have a steel d-ring but no buckle.
