Ponante added his site will be irreverent and critical.
"Porn is a billion-dollar industry, fundamentally geared toward giving erections to citizens," he said. "Out of this has come breakthroughs in business, technology, law, and the erectile sciences. It is an industry worth reporting.
"The site’s also known as Porn Valley Observed and that’s what I’ll offer – my take on the goings-on of the valley and its most popular export."
Ponante joins a small group of web-based adult industry commentators. "Each week we gather high atop Porn Mountain and decide how many ATMs to put into circulation."
