(CARBONDALE, IL) — Previously held in cities such as Atlanta and Miami, this year’s "Miss Nude World" pageant will be held at the Gallery, 5 miles north of Carbondale, IL. The event scheduled for November 15 to 20 is expected to draw over 30 professional exotic dancers from the United States and several foreign countries.
The pageant will also draw thousands of customers, most of which will come from the local region. Many however will travel from other states providing new visitors to local hotels and restaurants.
Unlike a typical beauty pageant, the contestants will be assessed on facial beauty, figure, personality, talent and creativity of their feature acts. Twelve judges will be chosen each night.
To be eligible for the pageant, contestants must have won a previous nude beauty contest. "Winning the Miss Nude World pageant would open doors to bookings as a featured dancer and to modeling jobs for photo layouts in men’s magazines", said Rio Rivers of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, owner of the pageant.
The pageant is in its 42nd year and has been featured in recent years on the Ricki Lake talk show and the HBO program "Real sex".
The Gallery is proud to host Miss Nude World 2005 which will surely give its great reputation an even bigger boost.
