(LOS ANGELES, CA) — Having been to a few rock concerts lately I can honestly say that I noticed some obvious similarities between the way groupies “work it” and the way porn chicks know their stuff. I found myself wondering what it would be like to be the fly on the wall back stage at these concerts. To see it first hand. Can groupies measure up when it comes to sex? How far do they really go?
I talked to a friend who had the pleasure of hanging out with adult film star Rubee Tuesday on the bus of the band Choleric (a heavy metal band from Louisiana) a few months back when they played in Anaheim. They said that it was fun but nothing too crazy happened. However, backstage there were a couple of hotties (non porn girls) with blonde hair and bubbley attitudes. “Let me come back stage at your next show”, they said as one of them pressed her breasts together to show some cleavage.
After hearing this along with seeing similar things myself at so many other concerts, I decided then that I needed to find out more about the whole groupie / porn connection. Hip Hop stars and rappers have now ventured into the capitalistic and hedonistic realm of porn recently as well. How does this affect groupies? Are they getting less action and are these porn girls their competition? Also, are these hip hop stars venturing into the Adult Entertainment business without being backlashed by society?
VH1 has had an ongoing series on the Porn to rock connection. In these times of Christina Agularia and Britney Spears is it so shocking? I think not. Those Pop Divas wear less on the streets than I do sun bathing alone in my backyard! Sex sells. And why not? It’s a great time! But I don’t agree with young girls wanting to emulate this type of behavior or way of dressing. We’re talking adults here.
The question is, are these rocked out, hip hoppin, sexy back stage Bettys any different than some of our most adored porn queens? Do they perform just as well? Are they as hot? Are they themselves porn girls too just trying to let off some steam? Well I intend to some research on this matter.
Follow me in my quest if you wish. I will be attending several concerts in the LA and surrounding areas to interview groupies and porn girls alike.
Upcoming is one of the shows that seems to have a good mix of girls to interview. It will be at The Dragonfly on April 16th 2003. The Dragonfly is located at 6510 Santa Monica Blvd. Hollywood, CA. The name of the band that’s playing is “mTHiRTEEN” and they go on at 10:00. The reason this band attracted my attention is as follows:
