A Christmas Message From the Publisher of the New Liberty Network Steven William Banan:

With the Christmas Season upon us, the New Year beckoning beyond the door and having just come through a tense and sometimes unbarring illness, we have much to think about and be thankful for. What is important now is that we all come together as one.

For too many years issues have been focused on the narrow and limited attainment of personal ambitions and egos to the detriment of the development of our industry. The selfish focus has been on the I and not the we, on the short-term attainment of our own needs and the loss of the long-term advancement of our industry.

My simple message for this season is the need for a change in this attitude that has slowly seeped into our industry. There is a need for us to think and act in a manner to bring us forward and not knock us down and take us back.. There is a need to think of the important elements required for our development as an industry, like productivity in the workplace, kindness to others and a focus laid upon the simple foundation that was set so many years ago.

This year we must reflect on all that we have lost and all that we have gained. We have lost many friends and loved ones, but we stay comforted by the notion that they are at piece and with our lord. I sincerely hope that for the year 2003 that some, if not all, of your aspirations will be realized.

Mine is a simple message but one that we all have to heed to develop the confidence to move our great industry forward in the coming years. We must respect and honor each other and in that way honor the spirit of Christmas which we then carry throughout the New Year.

And so, in the spirit of the times, and for all times. On behalf of my wife Nicole Moore, my entire family, my company Turner – Davis – Banan – King, its associates, affiliates and subsidiaries, I wish you Joy, I wish you Peace, I wish you Wealth, but more importantly, I wish you Health and Tranquility.

Have a very Merry Christmas and an Enjoyable and Prosperous New Year.

Thank you,

Steve Banan
