(IRVINE, CA) — Dave Pounder won $3,500 on the Weakest Link television show, taped at NBC Studios in Burbank, CA. “I was really excited to win the money. I originally went on the show a few months ago and was the first person voted off,” states Pounder. “I think the other contestants voted me off because they didn’t like the fact I was in porn; or maybe it was because I got both questions wrong.”
Some of the original contestants included a preacher and a school teacher. Nonetheless, NBC was determined to bring Pounder back for another episode. “I went on the show again under the assumption I would lose for the second time, but I figured it would be good publicity either way to get my name out there, hopefully increasing demand for my product.”
The show is not scheduled to air for a few months as it is in the post-production process. Pounder plans to use the $3,500 to assist with the funding of a new production company he hopes to start within the next few years.
