(LOS ANGELES, CA / LAS VEGAS, NV) — The women and men of Wicked Pictures continue to enjoy both adult and mainstream exposure as they fill their busy schedules with appearances at events as diverse as Van’s Warped Tour 2002, DiY- Fest Version 2.0, the Free Speech Coalition’s Night of the Stars, the American Novelty Manufacturers’ Expo, and this year’s Home Entertainment 2002 Show, co-sponsored by VSDA and Advanstar Entertainment.

The Warped Tour’s multi-media "roadshow," DiY- Fest Version 2.0 (which Wicked sponsored for its two LA dates), served as the backdrop for a special appearance by Wicked Girls Stephanie Swift and Julia Ann, who took to the stage July 11th to give away Wicked hats, shirts, and key chains to hordes of fans. After their appearance on stage, the girls were escorted to an exhibition tent for an exclusive autograph signing. After the show, indie faves Troma Films interviewed Julia Ann and Stephanie for a feature documentary about the tour.

Sunday, July 14th saw Stephanie, Julia Ann, Devinn Lane, and Sydnee Steele appearing at the Free Speech Coalition’s Night of the Stars at the Woodland Hills Marriott, where legendary industry performers and First Amendment activists were honored with awards. The following day saw all four Wicked Girls promoting the latest toys in their Wicked Essensual Elements erotic novelty lines at the American Novelty Manufacturers’ Expo (ANME), at the Sheraton Universal in Studio City. From there, Devinn, Wicked Pictures’ VP of Sales Joy King, and Head of DVD Production David Crawford traveled to Las Vegas for the Home Entertainment 2002 Show at the Rio Hotel and Casino. The Wicked suite featured appearances by Devinn, whose new release Breathless debuted June 12th. Event attendees viewed advance clips from the upcoming Euphoria DVD, an ambitious two disc set that streets August 7th. As an official event sponsor, Wicked Pictures provided collectible hotel door "Do not Disturb" signs featuring Devinn in a sexy hotel concierge outfit.

Receiving considerable promotion at the show were gorgeous new Jenna Jameson posters promoting her many Wicked titles, and hot new Wicked store signs. King, Crawford, and Lane were on hand July 16th-18th, granting interviews and promoting Wicked Pictures "event releases" like Jonathan Morgan’s Hercules, debuting September 25th, and the DVD edition of Turning Point, which received an Editor’s Choice AAAAA video review from AVN. The DVD will feature many bonuses, including an alternate ending. Also receiving promotion was the new Vintage Editions DVD line, a series of economically priced titles like the Maddam’s Family and Overnight Sensation that will begin streeting September 18th. There’s no doubt about it: When it comes to generating publicity, the Wicked Girls are the essential elements of adult and mainstream media!
