(CHATSWORTH, CA) — Elegant Angel Records is proud to announce their first CD – “Smokin'” by the Roscoe Bowltree Blues Review is now available to the public.

Some comments on “Smokin” from the press:

“Take a bit of humor and some funk. Blend well with outstanding musicians. Mix all with a great beat and a dollop of nastiness, and you’ve got Roscoe Bowltree’s Blues Reviews …Smokin’.” — Rachel Worth of Worth-a-Million.com.

“Well I don’t know much about blues nor am I the biggest blues fan, but when I heard that Elegant Angel was releasing a blues CD I was curious. I listened to it and found it rather amusing and very different from what I usually listen to, refreshingly different. Good music from talented musicians can be found on this CD.”…BigMike at AdultDVDTalk.com:

” I’m happy that Patrick has smartly avoided what I consider the cardinal sins of porn soundtracks — the use of heavy metal or punk music. Viewers don’t want to hear the same stale soundtrack from 1985 over and over again. Music can greatly enhance the mood of a scene and help draw the viewer into the action. I appreciate Elegant Angel’s effort to include new and original theme songs and music in their releases. Like the Thx trailer seen in cinemas says, “The audience is listening.”…. RaincoatReviews.com

“Roscoe Bowltree’s Blues Review and their first release, “Smokin”, is definitely well done and a lot of fun.” “The best cuts are the opener, ‘Roscoe’s Blues Review’, ‘Bad Girl’, and ‘Sodomania’, where Collins professes his love for all the female body parts, but admits that his favorite sexual activity is sticking his tongue where the sun don’t shine, up a lady’s ‘starfish’. That’s the most hilarious musical euphemism since Chuck Berry sang about his “ding-a-ling.”…. Dave Patrick/Spectator Magazine

“Want help to get down and dirty? “Smokin’s” driving rhythm and blues will get you in the mood. So push it in and hit play!”… Cindi Loftus/ Xcitement magazine

“Elegant Angel always has the best soundtracks. The sexy blues licks add to the flavor of their movies. It’s the kind of stuff I’d listen to without the flick…when are they going to start putting out CDs?”…. Neil at XXXMoviereview.com

The music has been used on several radio stations, as well as soundtracks for certain Elegant Angel videos. Roscoe Bowltree and Doug Scott are currently in the studio, working on their second release.

There is a limited number of this first CD, and this could very well end up being a collector’s item. They will be sold on a first come, first serve basis, so get “Smokin'”, while it’s hot!!
