(VAN NUYS, CA) — Chi Chi LaRue, Vivid’s newest exclusive director, makes his directorial debut with "Where the Boys Aren’t 14" and the reception for his work is as good as it gets – the feature received the top rating of AAAAA in the March AVN. David Stanley, who also directs exclusively for Vivid, received AAAA 1/2 for "Flick," a light hearted romp starring Briana Banks. In a rare occurrence, both titles were named as "Editor’s Choice" features for March, the highest monthly accolade AVN gives.
In her review of "Where the Boys Aren’t 14" AVN’s Carly Milne proclaimed, "It’s 83 minutes of non-stop all-girl action." Milne predicts that LaRue will be nominated for Best Director – Video at the next AVN Awards and gives the title a pre-nom for Best All Girl Feature. Vivid general sales manager Howard Levine said "Where the Boys Aren’t 14" is selling phenomenally."
Milne also reviews "Flick" for the magazine and gives it a pre-nom for Best Comedy.
In addition, "The Perfect Couple" starring Cheyenne Silver received AAAA in the March AVN.
