(CALABASAS, CA) — Who is the Internet’s favorite photographer? Vogue’s venerable master of classy kink Helmut Newton? Supermodel photographer Herb Ritts? Celebrity lens lady Annie Leibovitz? Or Vanity Fair’s Bruce Weber?

Not even nearly. According to the premier Internet pay-for-position search engine the shooting star of cyberspace is erotic photographer Suze Randall.

The search engine, overture.com, invites Internet advertisers to use a Search Term Suggestion Tool that reports how often a name was searched for during the previous month. The most searched for photographer in October 2001 was Suze Randall (25,240 searches). Legendary landscape photographer Ansel Adams came a distant second with 14,589 searches.

Helmut Newton got 3779 searches, Herb Ritts 1918, Annie Leibovitz 1843 and Bruce Weber 1466. Suze Randall also outshone all other erotic photographers by a magnitude of greater than ten, controversial hardcore art lensman Robert Mapplethorpe coming closest with 1866 searches.

Suze Randall’s prominence in the glamour photography field has been widely recognized for some time. Printed versions of her photographs were published as early as 1975 in Playboy and later in Penthouse and Hustler magazines. The entire library of her legendary work can be seen almost in its entirety exclusively at suzerandall.com.

This collection, comprising nearly 50,000 original photos, was voted the Web’s best erotic photography site at the January 2000 Adult Video News awards in Las Vegas.

Industry sources say that not only are her photographs downloaded more than anyone else’s but that they are by far the most pirated images on the Internet.
