(ATLANTA, GA) — Moving trucks and workers continue their clean up at the Gold Club as passer by’s and tourists look on.

While the Atlanta City Council and federal authorities discuss what will become of the building and land tract that was the Gold Club, furniture, food, liquor and anything else that could be moved were loaded in to moving trucks and left the property. Steven Kaplan, the former owner of the Gold Club, who will be sentenced the in coming weeks supervised and coordinated the moving efforts. Workers could be seen loading pieces of furniture and bottles of champagne into the trucks.

Meanwhile the Atlanta City Council is debating whether to acquire the land itself, possibly to put up a park for the Lindburgh section of Atlanta.
