(CHATSWORTH, CA) — Adult industry rockers and local L.A. headliners Voodoo Circus will perform at the House of Blues at 8430 Sunset Blvd. in West Hollywood this Tuesday, July 24th. Voodoo Circus will kick off the Night around 9:00pm and a special guest band, Calavera, along with funk kings Velvet Jones will follow. Adult film legend Sharon Mitchell and representatives from AIM Healthcare will be on hand with information about practicing safe sex, and to accept donations for AIM. Actual adult industry stars will get one free ticket each, however AIM Healthcare will have a limited number of half-price tickets ($5.00 donation) to anyone (almost anyone – no minors please) who wishes to attend. "We have a big following in the adult film industry, especially with the adult stars, and this is a way for Voodoo Circus to give something back to our friends and fans," said lead guitarist Jim Monroe. " We believe AIM is an asset to the adult industry. As well as being the number One test center, they also provide valuable counseling for a number of issues."
Once again, Voodoo Circus is experimenting with the unusual placement of the headliners opening the show. Drummer Danny "The Animal" Gorman commented, "Most of our friends have regular jobs in the morning, and playing first gives us more time to party with them."
Voodoo Circus has established a VIP list. This list is limited and will provide exclusive access to the Foundation room.
