(CINCINNATI, OH) — The game between the New York Mets and the Cincinnati Reds was halted briefly in the second inning Friday night when the “Naked Cowboy” ran onto the field.
Robert John Burck II, 30, a musician from Cincinnati, has showed up in several cities in his cowboy personna. He usually is dressed in briefs, red boots and hat and an American flag cape.
On Friday night, he substituted a ballglove for the guitar he often holds in front of himself.
Police handcuffed Burck in center field and escorted him from Cinergy Field.
