(VAN NUYS, CA) — Vivid Entertainment Group enters the New Year with a basketful of nominations for leading adult industry awards, a half-dozen new releases, including Delirium with Dayton’s first anal scene ever.
Vivid has 76 nominations for the upcoming AVN Awards, which will be announced during An Adult Odyssey, the annual AVN Awards at the Venetian Hotel, Las Vegas, January 8, 2001. The VSDA nominated Artemesia and Jekyll & Hyde for top Home Entertainment Awards to be announced during the VSDA Home Entertainment Convention in Las Vegas January 6-9. Five Vivid DVDs received nominations in the 2000 Empire Awards competition, including The Awakening for best feature and Interactive Body Parts and Virtual Vivid The Orgy for best interactive.
Vivid will be out in full force at the Adult Entertainment Expo in Las Vegas, January 7-9, 2001 with Vivid Girls and other Vivid personnel on hand at Booth # 602.
Features scheduled for January release include:
Delirium, starring Dayton in her first anal scene ever, plus roles by Sydnee Steele, Jewell Marceau and Tavalia Griffin. Delirium starts off the year with a January 3rd release date.
Watcher #14 a new wall-to-wall Gonzo feature will be released January 8th. It stars a number of new actresses plus Bridgette Kerkove and Isabella who get off watching other people have sex.
Highway # 2 will be released January 10th. It stars Dasha, Selena Del Rey, Temptress and Lola. Dasha and her sidekick Herman take a vacation in Mexico, seeing the sights, pulling off a few robberies, and having lots of sex.
Return to Sender is due for release January 17th. It features Kira Kener, Chennin Blanc, Chandler, Taylor Moore, Anastasia Blue and Blair. Kira plays a woman who breaks up with her boyfriend and begins exploring her wildest fantasies.
John Friendly’s Big and Small # 2 is another gonzo release, due out January 29th. John Friendly turns up the heat with a double anal scene featuring AVN’s 2000 starlet of the year, Bridgette Kerkove.
Deviant, scheduled for release January 31st, is about a future time when sex is illegal but people find all kinds of ways to satisfy their sexual desires. It stars Taylor Hayes, Raylene, Renee La Rue and Chennin Blanc.
They’re still talking about The Hot Networks Thanksgiving week party at the El Rey Theatre in Los Angeles. The place was jammed with people who wanted to meet Vivid Girls and listen to the Goo Goo Dolls in private concert. There was lots of media on hand, including reporters from Extra, KCBS, KNBC, CNN, Entertainment Tonight (which taped like mad for a future program), Good Day LA, UPN and Channel 13, KTLA and radio stations n Los Angeles.
