(VAN NUYS, CA) — Vivid has announced the production of Bad Wives 2, the hotly anticipated follow-up to Bad Wives. The follow up to the award-winning original will star Vivid Girls Taylor Hayes and Raylene.
The original film was the recipient of 6 Adult Video News (AVN) awards at the 1998 AVN Awards, which included best film and best screenplay. The film’s two stars, Dyanna Lauren and Steven St. Croix, also won awards for best actress and best actor award for the movie that’s recognized as one of the greatest adult films of all time.
Vivid fans and the industry alike are anxiously awaiting the release of Bad Wives 2. "The script is fantastic! I am very excited to begin working on this," says director Paul Thomas, who also directed the original.
Both stars of Bad Wives 2, Taylor Hayes and Raylene, have had banner years. Taylor Hayes most recently starred in the 10 star Vivid feature, Jekyll and Hyde, also directed by Paul Thomas. The remake of the horror classic was shot throughout the US and Europe and features an amazing ensemble of cast, sets and characters. Raylene recently received rave reviews for her performance in Couch Tails, and is featured on the September cover of AVN. The raven-haired beauty has also made noise in the mainstream media, appearing on stage at the 2000 Grammy Awards.
