(SAN FERNANDO VALLEY, CA) — The new millennium marches on and so does HIV and AIDS work in the world. Due to a growing client base, AIM HealthCare Foundation is expanding our services and broadening our horizons. Which means we are bringing in more doctors on site, expanding our mobile phlebotomy and prevention education programs. As you know, we are a non-profit agency and it is now time to contribute to an incredible community based organization that is AIM HealthCare. We provide an invaluable and necessary service that the industry depends on. We urge you to participate by sending donations now. Look on our web site at URL AIM-Med.org/wishlist.html for a list of proposals you can fund or volunteer you time helping us out in our office a day or two. And don’t forget to let us know how we can continue to bring you the very best in service.

First up on our agenda is a growing need for STD testing and treatment. We now offer some tests free and more are on the way in June, so call in and see what’s available. Also, now playing at AIM HealthCare is the “Silicone Condom,” said to be heat-conducting and as thin and appealing as the Avanti brand. We will be bringing back our Support Group of the Month in June – you guessed it – PORNO 101! Join myself, Hershal Savage and Nina Hartley as we encourage, educate and provide esteemable advice at our facility on June 29th at 3:00 pm.

Let me once again remind you how fortunate we are to have HIV monitoring and testing available in the US. We have all seen and heard too much depressing news about Africa. Our brothers and sisters and dying at an alarming rate. 65% of the population are infected with full-blown AIDS with no medication available. In most cases, due to the negative stigma attached to AIDS in Africa, many doctors do not let their patients know their true diagnosis. Icing on the cake – rape is rampant. Statistics in the news report 75% of all females will be raped at one time in their life in Africa.

I do not share these statements to shock you, but to motivate you to take responsibility for your actions. Get tested. Find out how HIV is spread. Volunteer to help folks stricken with AIDS – only you can take the shame out of the game of HIV. And yes, be thankful for the services that we have available in the US. Now is not the time to point a finger (there are always three more pointing back at you.) Whether you are positive or negative, man or woman, there are many things you have to offer the world, so get busy!
