Grammy-nominated rapper and businessman 50 Cent, who wrote “In da Club” has ventures underway to open his own, is allegedly set to venture into the adult nightclub industry as a club owner. According to news reports from the Jasmine Brand, 50 Cent’s business portfolio includes almost every market imaginable: media, venues, brand partnerships and more, but sources say he’ll be expanding into a market he hasn’t tapped yet — except as a customer of the strip club, that is.
The 48-year-old Queens rapper, as well as Founder and CEO of G-Unit Records, is said to be opening up his own strip in Detroit with a theme having to do with his ownership. 50 Cent’s ties to Michigan’s biggest city can be traced to his long-time working relationship with Eminem, who was raised in Detroit. Last month, the Best-Selling Hip-Hop Artist of 2007 performed at his Final Lap tour stop in the Motor City with the man who founded him, Eminem, as his surprise guest, to the great excitement of their fans.
