Company-Hosted Workshop Lineup Announced for XBIZ LA 2023

The 2023 XBIZ LA conference, set for Jan. 9-12, will include, among other programming, a series of workshops hosted by noted brands and organizations, each showcasing its particular expertise and mission.

On Tuesday, Jan. 10 at noon, global payment processing company Vendo will present “2022 in Review — Data You Can Use.” The session will examine key performance indicators from the adult billing landscape in 2022, plus recommendations for 2023. Meanwhile, BranditScan asks “How Much is Piracy Costing You?” in a workshop designed to help content creators understand and the latest strategies for combating piracy.

At 1:00 p.m., premium social media site Loyalfans explains how the company strives to be “Your All-in-One Fan Platform,” explaining the platform’s monetization techniques, features and tools. At the same time, industry attorney Corey D. Silverstein will discuss the legal pros and cons of model management, for both performers and model managers, in “Model Management Agencies: A Legal Perspective.”

At 2:00 p.m., it’s “Boost Your Brand and Earnings With the Power of Networking” from ePlay, as reps share insights on how creators can leverage collaborations and referrals to build their business. Across the hall, Voiyal presents “Dirty Talk 2.0 — How to Monetize Your Voice,” a workshop covering how creators can earn revenue using just their voice and developing more intimate fan relationships.

The final workshops of the day get underway at 3:00 p.m., when the content management pros at NMG explain how to “Work Smarter, Not Harder” in order to maximize revenue. Meanwhile, VR Fan Service teaches a class in “Virtual Reality 101,” where anyone interested in exploring virtual reality production can learn the basics, from storytelling to equipment to production and post.

Wednesday features another slate of workshops — this time not just from adult companies, but also from organizations working to support and protect both the industry and the people who make it run.

Pineapple Support kicks things off at noon with “Maintaining Healthy Boundaries,” sharing advice on personal, emotional and online safety when dealing with clients/fans. Also at noon, ASACP presents “Stopping CSAM and Protecting Your Business,” laying out best practices and technologies for keeping CSAM off platforms that host/stream user-generated content.

At 1:00 p.m., Streamate hosts “110% — Operating at Your Highest Level,” where a panel of creators will reflect on key factors and important business and life decisions that helped them reach their goals. At 2:00 p.m., adult clips platform Clips4Sale presents “Create Your Fetish Brand and Succeed,” pinpointing tools and tips for establishing a successful brand within the fetish market.

At 3:00 p.m., join the Cupcake Girls for “How We Empower Sex Workers” and learn how the group’s mentors, advocates and resource partners support and empower creators for safety and success. Or sit in on “Tiptoe Into Crypto,” a workshop session presented by Hotline, addressing how to get started in crypto while minimizing risk, as well as crypto’s potential for dealing with the ongoing threat of censorship.

Finally, at 4:00 p.m. the BIPOC Collective presents “Self-Care for Sex Workers,” a strategy session for preventing burnout, managing sexual health and accessing resources, as well as processing strong emotions and advocating for your needs in a healthy way.

The 2023 edition of XBIZ LA kicks off “XBIZ week” with an extensive array of scheduled panels, networking socials and exclusive special events such as Winter Wonderland and XBIZ Honors, as well as post-conference events X3 Expo and the 2023 XBIZ Awards.
