(LOS ANGELES, CA) — At 7:15 this morning the Original Tommy Gunn, (biker Tommy Gunn), who was riding to a set, went down in an accident on Interstate 5 and was run over by a semi.
Gunn was on the way to the set for HBO’s True Blood and was one of the few talent chosen to portray werewolf bikers. Gun reportedly went down, slid down the freeway, and had his calf run over by a semi. Gunn was in full leather for the shoot and it’s said that is probably what saved his life.
Though he was heavily sedated, Gunn said his bike was pretty banged up when spoken to from Glendale Memorial Hospital, and Elizabeth Starr, who was at his bedside, said they were worried about his arterial artery because of the swelling in his leg.
