(FRESNO, CA) — Baker: In the City, a one hour talk and interview online show based in Fresno on www.CentralValleyTalk.com has debuted with thunderous applause. The show airs live every Tuesday from 1-2 p.m. And repeats online Wednesday from 6-7 p.m. Baker: In the City also airs weekly on KSDI-TV, Channel 33 and Digital Channel 43.3 in Fresno. Sheldon Baker will initially serve as the show’s host and producer.
Baker, a former Chicago area broadcaster with over 30 years of marketing and broadcasting experience, interviews notables and celebrities from the San Joaquin Valley and beyond.
Members of the adult industry have been invited to consider the show. The show’s easy going format is another way to bring adult entertainment mainstream for free.
”I’d love to have Stormy Daniels, Tera Patrick, Lisa Ann or some up and comers, as well as studio execs on the show,” Baker noted. ”If we build a following maybe we can tape a few shows at next year’s AVN show.”
”California casinos, sports teams, musicians and politicos also offer a wide range of special guests,” says Baker from the show’s Fresno Tower District studio.
Scheduled non-adult industry guests include Dr. Mark Whitacre, the subject of two books, a Discovery Channel program called Undercover and a Warner Brothers movie called the Informant starring Matt Damon, Dwayne Crump, former National Football League player and owner of Crump’s men’s wear in Fresno, Mary Morton, program director for Nourish America and author, Barbara Kimbley.
According to Baker, the goal is to attract celebrities and notables passing though the Valley to stop for an interview. He has received emails about the show from many parts of the U.S. And also Australia. Baker: In the City is also looking for giveaway items that can be offered viewers who email the show.
”The idea of an online talk show had always intrigued me, so when Mike Briggs, Fresno politico and owner of Mike Briggs Properties stepped up to the plate and started CentralValleyTalk.com I wanted to be part of the programming” says Baker, who has worked with a number of Hollywood and sports celebrities.
”Site design and infrastructure is still being developed, but programming content is online and traffic is increasing weekly.”
Baker is also principal of Baker Dillon Group, an award-winning Total Involvement Marketing™ agency.
