1. Happy Happy New Year to Each and Everyone of you, Our Sin City Chamber Members and Friends. Loretta, Michael and I are dedicated to making 2009 the best year we have ever had, creating events and parties that will entice each of you to attend sometime through the year. We understand that times have been a little strained what will all the economic mess and we all need a bit of an improvement over the past year; 2009 is our year!!!
2. We will have a booth with Adult Entertainment Expo once again January 10th and 11th so we are preparing for this now. We have scheduled the January Business Luncheon for January 21st at View 215 which is located at the 215 Freeway at Russell Road. This is a fabulous venue and should be great for the luncheon. The lunch begins with check in at 11:30, Terry Massey of Massey Resources will be the speaker and the topic will be ”They Stole our Dreams, How Do We Get Them Back?” Terry is a motivational speaker and business coach consultant of national renown and this should be a great talk to kick off the new year. Please RSVP to events@sincitychamberofcommerce.com as soon as possible, cost for the luncheon is $30 per person, in advance.
3. February’s mixer will be a party at the all new and incredible Power Exchange, the newest of the Swingers Club private venues in Las Vegas. The owners have relocated their fabulous club from San Francisco to Las Vegas with great decor, atmosphere and wonderful surprises. For those of you who wish to visit a private club and check out the amenities, this is your opportunity. We don’t expect any group activities or over the top sexual indulgence, just come and have a great time. The festivities start at 5:30 p.m.
4. March’s mixer is being scheduled at a location yet to be determined, but we have some wonderful options.
5. April 25th is the 5th Annual Chicken Ranch Experience in Pahrump. We have booked Mountain Falls (incredible Golf Course) for the 3rd annual Chicken Ranch Golf Cup Tournament, the shootgun start will begin at 7:30 a.m. We have booked 50 rooms at the Pahrump Nugget for those of you that wish to spend the night in Pahrump before the big day, call the office at 450-7222 and let Loretta know. ((FYI, Michael will be returning to partake of all the festivities and say hi to everyone for this event, as well at play in the golf tournament)). Booths for members will be available at the Chicken Ranch, we have 25 booths so book your spot early.
6. We are working on the event schedule for the remainder of the year, once again bringing back the Gala, Fall Golf Tournament and Holiday Party.
