(LAS VEGAS, NV) — Kicking off the new year with stylish new marketing that brings a grittier, edgier feel to one of adult entertainment’s most recognizable brands, Wicked Pictures contract superstars Stormy Daniels, jessica drake, Kaylani Lei, Kirsten Price, Alektra Blue, Mikayla Mendez, and contract actor/director Randy Spears are inviting you to join them January 8th-11th at the 2009 Adult Entertainment Expo in Las Vegas.
Joining this elite cadre of contract talent at the show will be several key members of the company’s award-winning executive team, including President and Owner Steve Orenstein, VP of Special Projects Joy King, VP of International Sales and Licensing Steven Vlottes, National Sales Manager Bonnie Kail, and Chief Technology Officer Avi Bitton.
After a formal ribbon cutting by Stormy launches the show in style Thursday morning, the expo will see Wicked executives and contract talent contributing to a number of informative seminars and panels.
The subject a recent profile on MSNBC.com, Joy King will be moderating a seminar that explores the roles of women in the industry, both as business executives and consumers. The seminar, titled Girls, Girls, Girls: The Growing Power of Women in Adult Entertainment, will be presented Friday January 9, from 11 a.m. To 1:00 p.m. In a formal statement discussing the upcoming seminar, King noted, ”Women play an increasingly important role in the growth and diversity of this industry. From business owners to producers, marketing executives to publicists, their contribution continues to legitimize the adult entertainment industry and break the outdated stereotypes that exist about it.”
Saturday, January 10th will see 2009 AVN Award nominee Randy Spears appearing at the Talent Panel on the Fyre TV Stage (Hall A, 2:00pm-3:00pm) while award winning director Michael Raven will be speaking at the Filmmaking 101 seminar (4:00pm-5:30pm, also in Hall A).
On the domestic sales front, Bonnie Kail and Vouyer Media Manager of Worldwide Sales Tony Cleary will be working with existing and future partners throughout the show at the Wicked Pictures / Vouyer Media suite in the Business2 Business Marketplace (Hall G). Steven Vlottes will be working with current and future clients from the worlds of broadcast, video-on-demand, and international distribution at the booth.
The largest show of its kind in the nation, AEE will take place at the Sands Expo Center, 201 East Sands Avenue, Las Vegas, NV 89109. Visitors to Wicked’s booth (#3000) can look forward to receiving such promotional items as autographed posters and sampler DVDs, and they’ll also get the chance to obtain copies of the new Wicked Pictures 2009 calendar. As a special treat for fans, the booth will also feature appearances by talent associated with the other lines that the company distributes, including Video Marc Dorcel contract stars Melissa Lauren and Yasmine.
When not meeting and greeting their fans, the Wicked beauties will be attracting both mainstream and adult press attention with their usual panache. The ladies will also be giving fans chances to live it up with them almost every night of the week. Wednesday and Thursday will see jessica, Kaylani, Kirsten, Alektra and Mikayla appearing at official Wicked Nights at LAX in the Luxor, while Saturday night will see them celebrating the AVN Awards at Pure in Caesars Palace. Fans will have two opportunities to party with Stormy Daniels. Friday evening will see the 2009 AVN award nominee promoting her upcoming release Operation Tropical Stormy at Lavo in the Palazzo, while Saturday will find the blonde superstar hosting her own sizzling post-awards soiree at the top-rated Tao inside the Venetian.
And speaking of the AVN Awards, Wicked Pictures and the lines it distributes are currently nominated for over 90 awards. The excitement is set to explode Saturday, January 11th, as Kirsten Price hosts the red carpet for the 26th Annual AVN Awards Show at the Mandalay Bay Events Center. In addition to Kirsten, jessica drake will be joining PopPorn.com‘s Spock Buckton for some funny and irreverent red carpet coverage, while brunette Wicked beauties Kaylani Lei and Mikayla Mendez will be gracing the stage as presenters. At press time it was reported that Stormy Daniels may present as well.
