Michael Grecco writes: Hi Steve, I just came back from Arles, France where the images from my Naked Ambition book were part of the Rencontres de Photographie en Arles, Night of the Year. It was a very exciting time. In the PX3 Paris International Photo Competition, two of my images took first place, another took third place, and yet another received an honorable mention. Just before I left for Europe, I shot a major ad campaign for Campbell’s soup with football great LaDainian Tomlinson.
I’m also pleased to announce that I’m the guest judge on one of the final episodes of the Hit Bravo TV show Shear Genius. The show airs this Wednesday, August 20th at 10 PM in most areas. In addition to judging, I designed and created the competition.
Finally, we’re recording tracks and picking music for Naked Ambition, the feature film based on my book of the same name, to be released in 2009. Some of the talent we’re working with are Terri Nunn from Berlin, Nic Harcourt from KCRW and Steve Berlin, saxophone, keyboards and producer of Los Lobos. I will keep you posted on that front as the release gets closer.
