(VAN NUYS, CA) — Adult DVD studio Pink Visual is flying their geek flag high this summer as a sponsor of the exclusive ConSlut after-party at Dragon*Con on August 29, in Atlanta, GA.

What is a ”ConSlut?” a ConSlut, is a person who attends several sci-fi/fantasy conventions a year and vies for an invitation to this annual regalia. The ConSlut party at Dragon*Con is an adults-only party held in a private suite at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Atlanta. Sponsored by ConSluts.com the adult-themed party is not officially endorsed by Dragon*Con, which aims to keep its programming kid friendly.

Party highlights include special guests from the sci-fi/fantasy world, and the opportunity to participate in fun contests like ”banana eating,” ”guess what’s in my pants,” and ”sexiest dancer,” for the chance to win adult-themed prizes, such as Pink Visual DVDs and trading cards. While the party is light-hearted in nature, Conslut.com‘s Scott McGowan says it’s a response to the growing conservative programming of Dragon*Con.

”Though Dragon*Con has had programming catering to those living alternative sexual lifestyles such a polyamory and BDSM, that programming has dried up in recent years. That’s where the ConSluts.com party comes in. It fills a gap that has been left by the recent trend towards more conservative programming,” explains McGowan.

”Anyone who believes that fan conventions, especially those dealing with the Science Fiction genre, are little more than sexless, depressing vortexes swarming with four-eyed virgins and pimple-faced goofballs who carry multi-sided dice everywhere they go, is sadly mistaken,” continues McGowan. ”a crowd of geeks can be totally sexy, given the proper time and place to express themselves.”

”This is a unique opportunity to reach out to a known fan-base,” says Kate Sylvan, Marketing and PR Coordinator for Pink Visual. ”What’s most interesting to me is that you don’t see this kind of collaboration very often, because sci-fi/fantasy conventions are open to the general public and adult-themed content is often discouraged at the event itself. The idea to have an adult-themed party during a sci-fi convention is brilliant and we are flattered that Scott asked us to be a part of it.”

”We’re particularly proud to have Pink Visual participating in this event, and it’s our pleasure to expose our guests to their brand. After all, that’s what this party is all about – allowing our guests the opportunity to learn more about such products in a non-intimidating and fun environment,” says McGowan.

ConSluts.com is a free website for avid fan convention attendees and largely concentrates on tutorials and fan convention coverage with a community feel. Users can also upload their own convention and party photos to share with other fans.

Scott McGowan has been involved in the adult industry for over six years as a writer and as a behind-the-scenes content analyst at AEBN. He has penned articles for XBIZ, Genesis and Velvet Magazine in the US, and Erotic Trade Only (ETO) in the United Kingdom.
