(LOS ANGELES, CA) — The 2008 F.A.M.E. (Fans of Adult Media and Entertainment) Awards are pleased to announce the finalists have been selected by the fans for the final voting phase which is officially underway in the third annual fan- based awards show.
Jenna Haze leads the stellar list of stars with four nominations for the final round, and Belladonna, Stormy Daniels and Tera Patrick weren’t far behind with three nominations each. Also receiving multiple nominations were stars such as Jesse Jane, Bree Olson, Eva Angelina and Hillary Scott, and companies such as Digital Playground, Adam & Eve Pictures, Vivid Entertainment, Evil Angel, Wicked Pictures, Teravision, Jules Jordan Video and SexZ Pictures, among others.

Fans also picked the final ”Wild Card” category, ”Favorite Underrated Performer,” and a committee has chosen the 10 finalists nominated for the new award.
Fans are encouraged to vote through June 6 for their favorite stars in each category, and the winners will be announced at a star-studded ceremony taking place at Erotica LA’s main stage on Saturday, June 7th. The show will be hosted by Digital Playground contract star Jesse Jane and Wicked Pictures contract star/director, Randy Spears. Admission to the 2008 F.A.M.E. Awards is free for all fans who attend Erotica LA (www.erotica-LA.com).

The F.A.M.E. Awards were created in 2006 by executive sponsors and show creators Genesis Magazine (www.genesismagazine.com), Adam & Eve (www.adameve.com), WantedList.com and AVN.com as a way for fans to honor their favorite adult film stars, directors, movies and companies. It is the first show where the fans take part in the entire process-from choosing the finalists to ultimately selecting the winners.
