(MONTREAL, QUEBEC) — The 2011 XBIZ Awards nominations were announced over the Holidays, leaving Mile High Media with plenty to cheer about. The company’s elite studios received 10 nominations, including Sweet Sinner for Feature Studio of the Year and Reality Junkies for Gonzo Studio of the Year. “Gigolos” continues to be lauded as one of the most critically acclaimed movies of 2010 with a Feature Movie of the Year nomination.
The Ashlynn Brooke directed “Red Riding Hood XXX: A Hardcore Parody” earned a Parody release of the Year nom for new studio Hardcore Parody. In addition, Mile High Media’s prolific auteur Nica Noelle is nominated for Director of the Year (Body of Work) due to her successful movies from Sweet Sinner and lesbian studio Sweetheart Video. The strong showing is indicative of Mile High Media’s transformation into an industry leader.
