(LOS ANGELES, CA) — Canoga Park-based Vouyer Media is pleased to announce that the company and the lines it distributes have been nominated for over thirty 2011 AVN Awards.

The company’s first foray into feature filmmaking, parody specialist Anton Slayer’s Not Really…the Dukes of Hazzard: A Hardcore Parody led the way for the company’s in-house productions, earning a nomination for Best Parody – Drama, while Slayer’s follow-up, Vouyer Media’s Taxi: A Hardcore Parody received nominations for both Best DVD Extras and Best Non-Sex Performance.

Turning to the all-sex categories, director Zander’s Mamasans Knock you Out earned nominations for both Best Ethnic Video release – Asian and Clever Title of the Year. Teen Motherfuckers earned praise in the new Best Older Woman / Younger Girl release category, while the popular Self Service 2 was nominated for Best Solo release. In the pro-am categories, Zander’s Untapped Assets was rewarded with a nomination for Best Pro-Am release.

The past year was also a good one for actor/filmmaker Jack Napier, who earned a Best Ethnic Themed release – Black mention for Black Bottom Girls 7, and a Best Director – Ethnic Video nomination for the latest volume of his flagship series, It’s Big, It’s Black, It’s Jack, 10. This long-running franchise was also recognized with a nomination for Best Interracial Series.

Several of the company’s ongoing series received acclaim in their respective niches, with Bombshell Bottoms earning a Best Big Butt Series nomination, while Absolute Amateurs 3, one of Vm’s first forays into the amateur market, was recognized in the Best Amateur release category.

Turning to the outside lines distributed by Vouyer Media, Burning Angel Entertainment’s Joanna Angel’s 3 led the way with several high profile nominations, including Best Sex Comedy, Best Screenplay – Original, Best Actor (Tommy Pistol), and Best Make-Up.

Other praise for Burning Angel included no less than three sex scene noms for Rebel Girl – Best Solo Sex Scene (Joanna Angel), Best POV Sex Scene (Jenna Haze and Joanna Angel), and Best Three Way Sex Scene for Joanna Angel, Draven Star and James Deen. Fittingly, Joanna was recognized in both the Director of the Year (Body of Work) and Crossover Star of the Year categories as well.

Noting the company’s forays into new territory, Vouyer Media, publicist Daniel M. notes, “It’s been an honor to see our first two features, the Dukes of Hazzard and Taxi, first receive Editor’s Choice reviews, and now awards nominations from AVN. Winners will be announced at the 2011 AVN Awards Show, to be held in Las Vegas on Jan. 8th, 2011.
