Traci Bryant [aka Anita Cannibal] Goes Legal by Rich Moreland – A porn career is a classroom of its own and when a performer earns a law degree, that’s news.

Shooting her first scene in 1997, Traci Bryant (nom do porn Anita Cannibal) is a veteran of well over a hundred films and has worked with the best in the business. She never let bookings interfere with cultivating her intellect, however, completing a BA in Psychology at New Zealand’s Victoria University and a BS in Business Real Estate at Cal State University in Northridge.

Then a law degree from the University of West Los Angeles stood next in line.

Catching up with Traci recently, this writer learned that the newest addition to her academic arsenal is broadening the porn star’s professional options. Though she still must pass the bar exam, Traci’s plans are shaping up to help people in the field she knows best, sex work. On the table of professional possibilities are working with non-profits, such as PAW (Protecting Adult Welfare), initiating an adult business of her own, or offering legal assistance to benefit sex workers.

Currently, the soon-to-be attorney is completing an academic paper, “Sex as Legal Consideration in a California Court of Equity” and has plans to “host a seminar,” she says, during the 2015 AVN gathering in Las Vegas.

Traci Bryant’s background equips her to discuss all aspects of sex work with her clients. Beyond shooting scenes, she has experience in the other branches of the three-legged stool of sex work. She has been employed in four Nevada brothels – the famed Chicken and Mustang Ranches, the Shady Lady and the Wild Horse Ranch. And that third leg, feature dancing, is also part of her resume. Traci’s stage appearances run through thirty-five states and four Canadian Provinces.

Tireless in her efforts, Traci is developing another side of her creative self. “I have to start editing my documentary called, ‘Porn Star goes to LawSchool,'” she says, though passing that bar exam next February is still her number one consideration. If all goes according to Hoyle, the production should be out next summer.

Traci Bryant is willing to appear at any convention where her target group, sex workers, are represented and is available to radio, TV, or other interested media. She can be reached at dtraci@sbcglobal.net.
