What does a Hawaiian Tropic model and Regional Training Coordinator do when her career needs more excitement? If that model is Digital Playground contract star Jesse Jane, she moves into the Industry and quickly becomes one of its’ most prominent talents ever.
Jesse Jane is the prime example of just how well Digital Playground chooses their talent – all their contract girls are very different in many respects, but each is incredibly talented at what they do.
The first thing you notice about Jane is that this woman is tiny, tiny tiny. The second is just how stunningly beautiful she is in person.
The really pleasant part comes, however, when one begins talking to her. Jesse Jane is a smart, articulate and genuinely nice girl.
During our on camera interview at the AEE last January, Jane provided answers that were well considered, but at no point did she seem like she was on script. She is immediately disarming and comfortable, a fact I was deeply grateful for as this was the first time I’d done an on-camera interview. Right into the deep end, eh?
She exudes that comfortable midwestern friendliness typical of her native Oklahoma. Jesse related an anecdote about flying to the AEE with her husband and being spotted in the airport by a bunch of young men. ”That’s Jesse fuckin’ Jane!” she over heard, and spent the rest of the flight watching them sneak phone camera pictures of her. Her point in telling this was that she wished the guys would have just come up and said hello, rather than be intimidated.
Jane would not change a thing about the Industry, given the option. ”There will always be fights” (against censorship.) Nonetheless Jesse sees a good future for adult entertainment with hopes of increasing acceptance by mainstream culture.
Jesse’s interests apart from her amazing, meteoric career include shopping, sports (Jane, a true Texas girl, has Sunday football parties as often as possible) shopping and travel. Jesse grew up traveling within the Texas/Oklahoma region in a military family. She’s branching out and taking her family with her – she coaxed them to the Bahamas recently, and is planning trips to Russia, Africa, and cannot wait to visit Amsterdam. ”I want to see and experience everything in this world” says Jane.
Jesse continues to reside in Oklahoma with her husband and her very close and supportive family. According to Jane, they think sometimes she can be a little wild, but they deeply love and respect the path she has chosen. They accept that she’s always been a ”very sexual person.”
Jesse did mention she’s worked to diminish her southern accent, which slips into her speech when she’s around her family or after a cocktail.
When I asked the usual two random questions (what is the worst hotel you’ve stayed at, and the strangest food you’ve eaten) Jane said that the worst place she’d been in was a Super 8 in the midwest. She was traveling cross country and needed a place for the night. The sheets were dirty, the walls dripping. She ended up sleeping on a towel on the bed. Jesse mentioned that the strangest food she’d ever eaten was a bizarre, dark green gelatinous cube she tried in France. ”I don’t even know what the hell it was” she says, adding that once she’d tasted it, she was not about to ask, either.
Jesse Jane is a consummate professional, and an absolute delight to be with. I can’t wait to speak with her again, and I’m glad beyond measure that she is improving the Industry with her fantastic work.
